Effective August 20, 2026
When you buy from us, Stripe processes the payment and collects your name, email and billing details directly — we never see or store your card number. From that we keep your email address, the state or national scope you bought, and, if you are a subscriber, a record of which aircraft registrations we have already sent you, so that each delivery contains only what is new. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so a person can pick the thread back up. That is the whole of it.
Our website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. There is no advertising pixel on any page here.
We use your email address to deliver the files you paid for, to tell you about a problem with a delivery, and to answer you when you write. We do not run a marketing list off it.
We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone. Customer records live on our own server, backed up daily, including a nightly off-site copy. Three companies handle data for us and no others: Resend, our email provider, which delivers our mail and carries that nightly backup; Stripe, which processes payments and subscriptions; and Google and Comcast, which are where the backup lands. We are moving that backup to storage we operate ourselves; until we do, that is where it goes and we would rather say so than describe it vaguely. One exception, stated plainly: if this business is ever sold or merged, the customer list may transfer with it, and the new owner will be bound by this same policy.
Cancel a subscription from the Stripe billing portal or by replying to any email from us. If you would also like your address erased from our records entirely, email us and we will delete it within a few days — note that Stripe keeps its own transaction records independently of us, as it is required to.
The registration records in our files come from the FAA's public Releasable Aircraft Database, published by the U.S. government. We sell only aircraft registered to business entities; individually-owned aircraft are excluded. An aircraft owner who wants to limit what appears about them in the public registry should contact the FAA about their options under 49 U.S.C. § 44114(b) — once the FAA withholds a record it stops reaching us, and we never re-serve a record that has been withdrawn.
Our web server keeps an access log, the way nearly every website does. One line per request, holding your IP address, the time, the address of the page or file you asked for, the response we sent, and your browser's User-Agent string. An IP address is personal data under the CCPA and the GDPR, so it belongs on this page rather than buried in a config file. We use it for one thing: keeping the site up and seeing when something is broken or being probed. We do not build a profile from it, we do not join it to your email address or your order, and we do not share it.
How long we keep it. The log rolls when the live file reaches 10 MB, we keep the five most recent rolled files, and any rolled file older than 90 days is deleted. So retention depends on how busy the site has been, with 90 days as the outer limit.
This section is for aircraft owners, not buyers.
What is in our files. We sell only registrations held by business entities; individually-owned aircraft are excluded before anything is stored. But a company registration still names a real place: the registrant name, the mailing address on the registration, the N-number, and the aircraft. Where a business registered from home, that address is a home address. We know that, which is why this section exists.
Where it comes from. All of it is the FAA's Releasable Aircraft Database, passed through unchanged. Nothing is added from any other source: no purchased data, no data broker, no scraped web pages, and no email addresses or phone numbers — the federal file does not carry them and we do not go and find them.
Two routes, and they do different things.
Use the N-number when you write, not the company name. It is the FAA's own identifier for the registration, and company names are neither unique nor stable.
You have rights to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted, and we do not charge for any of that or treat you differently for asking. Email leads@wingleads.com and say what you want; a person reads it. If you are asking about an aircraft registration rather than a customer account, the section above is the faster route and does the same thing.
We do not sell or share personal information about visitors to this site. The aircraft data we sell is a public federal record about businesses, which is a different thing from a profile of you as a person, and we do not join the two.
