One thing: the email address you type into the signup box. No names, no phone numbers, no payment details (paid tiers will use a payment processor — we never see your card number). Our website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts.
We use your email address to send you the newsletter and alerts you signed up for. That's the whole list.
We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone. The subscriber list lives on our own server, backed up daily (including a nightly off-site backup copy we control). Emails are delivered through Resend (our email provider), which processes your address solely to deliver our mail. One exception, stated plainly: if this business is ever sold or merged, the subscriber list may transfer with it — the new owner will be bound by this same policy, and you'll always have the one-click unsubscribe.
Every email contains an unsubscribe link — one click plus a confirmation, and you stop receiving everything. If you'd also like your address erased from our records entirely, email us and we'll delete it within a few days.
The ownership records in our digests come from the FAA's public Releasable Aircraft Registry, published by the U.S. government. Aircraft owners who wish to limit their public registry data can contact the FAA about their privacy options.
